I emptied my catch can today and this is what was in it after about 2,000 miles. The last time I emptied it was with about 5,000 miles and it was the same thing, but completely full. I didn't take a pic then and kind of forgot about it. I put the can on this summer and emptied it a few times while it was warmer out and it was normal. I'm hoping that this is maybe just because of the cold weather. Maybe there's just moisture in there that is condensing in the can?? What do all of you think? I have 42,000 trouble free miles on it and hope this is just something normal. There was just a little oil in the bottom. About the amount I expected from the times I emptied it this summer.

Normal, that can catches oil and blow by and fumes. How does it smell? Main thing is you oil is not bubbly or have water.

Here's a random pic of contents of a catch can in a water bottle.

It has changed colors because of the constant cooling and heating of the can due to winter time.

It will be black again come summer time.
