And for the record, not resetting the trip meter for anything over 500 miles is really irrelevant, because that is pretty much all the computer goes by (the last 4-500 miles). With that 23k mile trip, if I tow a trailer for a full tank of gas and average 12 mpg, thats what will show on that trip readout at the end of the tankful. Then, when I drive normal again for another tankful, it will be right back up to 19-20 mpg average again.
