Hi all, just traded my 5.7 etorque for a new 2500 6.7 cummins in granite crystal. Needed something to tow more weight and payload and with gas scarce in some remote places in outback Oz diesel was the better option. Dealer let me take a 2500 for a long drive and that 6.7 is a beast. One thing i did notice comfort wise is the 2500 seats are way more comfortable. Looking forward to taking delivery in september.

FYI there be no 6th Gen 2500 truck nor 3500 and up, we have not yet even had a 5th gen in the HD line up let alone a 6th gen, the U-tubers and others can claim or call them anything they wish, but it's a fact there is no 6th gen in the HD line up like they may have in the 1500 line up, at best some Ram forums call them 4.5 gen or go by year of certain changes like when they went to the 8 speed transmission starting in 2025 thus the 2025 & 2026 has a separate section from 2019 to 2024 trucks but it's still called/listed under the 4th or 4.5 gen truck listing, then they get broken down again to certain years...

Oh sorry thats my bad then. Dealers are calling them 6th down here. Either way i like the changes on the newer platform. Hopefully I'll have a good run with it keeping the maintenance up.
