So here is the $64,000 question....

Is there a kit or an easy way to keep dust out of the tailgate.

That was the one thing that gave me the irrates with my ranger... the amount of dust the tailgate let’s in.

In fact there are lots of places where I can see daylight in the bed, so I’m going to have to sort something out.

But the gaps around the gate are huge.

Anyone??

Weather stripping? I don’t think when they design them it’s to be air tight and keep dust out. It is still a truck. I’m guessing some good quality rubber gasket would fix your issue. Me I’m more of the open air bed person. ;)

You won’t be an open air bed person when we spend 16 hours driving across the state on dusty dirt roads where the dirt is like talc.

I’m not wanting it water tight, but it’s gotta get better than it is.

Ford realized their cockup and released a sealing kit, so I thought MOPAR might do the same.

The bottom of the bed has daylight come through on many peoples' trucks here....

You will be hard pressed to dust proof your bed without significant work....

Top rail, bed floor, tailgate, stake pockets, front drain hole will all need to be sealed.
