I hate this. I keep my key in my pocket, and hop out while on job sites or running into stores and whoever is in the truck has to listen to the damn thing ding constantly. I can't find a setting. There has to be a setting. Please help, I'm tired of getting ******* at.

I live in Albuquerque, NM which is right at the top of the nation in car theft, and while they couldn't drive off without the key, leaving the door open to a running vehicle is inviting them to at least try and then crash it when it dies.

Actually...if it’s running, they CAN drive off without the fob. It just won’t start back up if they shut the engine off.

Ah interesting. I assumed it would die when out of range. Thanks for letting me know. That definitely rules out leaving the door open then.
