Thanks for the replies. I went with Krown because of the reviews and has done well in Canada so they say ! But great to get first hand info. I was going to use Fluid Film first till I read the the Krown treatment also gets done to the doors and other parts

My father has it done every year at a cost of 100$ a year it leaks out all year so all the seams are always dirty with oily film. Looking at his truck and mine his 5 year old you look under and he has the same amount of oxidation as mine. No rust but still oxidized. And not to mention what the oils dripping has don’t to his drive way

As for the dripping I knew it would drip a few days, but not forever lol.. So now i will keep a tarp under the RAM to keep a eye on it !
I also have a dirt/gravel driveway so any leaking not a issue !

The theory sounds good so will see over time how good it really looks. I do like the Black color look on the frame and axle though lol

Regretfully we have concrete driveways. And I personally think it is a gimmick. It it was so good wouldn’t more people have it done seeing that a vehicle is the only large purchase that goes down the moment you drive off the lot just my two cents. Sure it will look pretty the day you put it on but over time does it still. Yes we were talking about it yesterday because we were washing the vehicle. And is the years cost our way benefits. My father inlaw said that is any rust happening from the window Down it was covered. I will look into the fine print on the warranty

Can't agree with his looking the same as yours.Been using Krown for years and have had no issues.Yeah it creeps but that is a good thing. It creeps to where it needs to be the most.My 2015 SLT had zero oxidation anywhere when I traded it in late 2019.
Oh and it doesn't drip forever either.Few days at most depending on the application. Some lay it on heavier.By far one of the best rustproofing products out there.

It's no gimmick. My 97 GMC E-CAB 4x4 had nearly 500 k klm's on the original body when I got rid of it to buy my 15 SLT AND NO HOLES.$140 a year is well worth the money. No amount of washing can stop these things from rotting from the inside out but Krown can certainly give it a fighting chance in that department.

How much did you pay for it for the 4 years and do it up your trade in value

$140 a year and I don't have to worry about trying to wash it underneath everytime I take it out.The bottom looks the same in the spring as it does in the fall.Obviously it's going to up the trade in if you don't drive on the lot with a bunch of rust holes LOL but I didn't do it for trade in.I do it for my piece of mind.I had planned on keeping it for a long, long time and didn't want to be driving around in a rust bucket no matter how good it runs.I wish I would have kept the 15 actually.

BTW If your dad's isn't good then maybe he should try a different Krown store.

They don't keep them long enough. At least the OPP doesn't.I built police vehicles for the last 20 years. The OPP has approx 10,000 members and **** ton of vehicles to keep them going. Can you do the math at even a $100 a vehicle and justify that tax payer expense for vehicles only on the road for a couple of years?

If you don't like it don't use it but don't say it's a gimmick either because it does work. You up for comparing trucks 10 years from now?*****.

Krown hasn't done a truck for a $100 for years so maybe he hasn't had it done for a long time. It's not a one time shot.

From all I have read I agree I think I will not regret it :) I went with Krown because of the reviews from Canadian reviews !, Even though Fluid Film also has good reviews I like the extra mile Krown does in installation . I was planning on doing it in Canada on the way to a fishing trip before it came to Bangor Maine ! Will still do the fishing trip when the border opens again :)
But that stuff does drip lol
Thanks for your input and here it was 150$ US so cheap piece of mind :)

Sure I am. I wash my underside of my truck weekly. But I don’t think I will still have this ram. I am shopping for a dually. And a slide in camper. The hell with this virus I am going further North

A bit of a subject change, because i read the post by Toddbigboytruck

A few years back, i drove up into Ontario, i went to visit friends in Toronto & Richmond Hill.
Then i drove up to Barrie & then i visited a friend in Sundridge & then drove to North Bay & over to Sudbury, ( that was the first time that i ever ate Black Flies & Steak, with Jello Shooters )
Those friends mentioned that they like to go to The Cabins , somewhere further up north

I thought that it was all beautiful country

In this image, i was following my Toronto friend, he is test riding a motorcycle that a factory sent to him for review, he works for the magazine called
2Ride.Ca, we were going to a photo shoot at a golf course near Guelph

Ive been applying Fluid Film and Woolwax to my truck for 5 years now. It's 8 years old now and the undercarriage hasn't rusted at all besides what was starting when I started applying FF. No rust on the rockers or rear wheel arches like many older 4th gens have.

Krown is similar to FF and very much worth the money to have it done.
