Congrats on a finished build.....Just curious tho. with the amount of time and money spent, what type of tuning was used. RTA, T/A. Didn’t see any mention of that in previous post unless I missed it.

It took entirely too long really. Altogether I'd say about 3 weeks that they had the truck total. No idea on cost, but I'd say somewhere around 8k. I had my girls car done also. Hers was about $1,200 and all I furnished was the amp and wiring kit. Mine I furnished everything except the amp rack, head unit, and dsp. But with equipment included I'd say I dropped about $8k - $8,500 on mine. Everything I furnished was below retail though. About half retail honestly. I'm not sure what he used to tune it. Had a mic in the truck and 2 laptops running. One doing eq and the other doing frequencies.Congrats on a finished build.....Just curious tho. with the amount of time and money spent, what type of tuning was used. RTA, T/A. It truly has already broadened my horizon in music. Stuff I would hit skip on with a stock system I have found myself hitting repeat on several times. My buddy said the same thing. We were enjoying stuff neither of us have ever listened to and never saw ourselves listening to. Pretty cool.Good deal, I hope you have music listening euphoria in your truck for many years to come![]()
No lie, he goes to concerts all the time. Most of anyone I've ever met. He said it blew any concert he has ever been to out of the water. He's not big into bass per say, in cars anyway, but he said it's cause he's never heard it like in my truck. There is plenty of bass that you can hear, feel, and see shaking stuff. But it doesn't over power the music and lyrics, all of which are crystal clear. That was his description. And I don't even have the best speakers. I have the access series focal. Going to upgrade them later this year most likely. That’s what an SQ system is supposed to do, emerse you in a musical experience. It doesn’t make you feel like you’re listening to the “radio” but like you’re listening to a musical performance.
I bet those sound amazing! I was looking at some of those on ebay. I can't afford them from a retail store. Lol. I was thinking maybe the krx3. But I may go all out on the utopia set. Definitely not going Ultima. Those are like 15-20k.I love focal speakers, which models will you do next? I am running the Focal Utopia Be No. 7 Active 3 way set in my truck.
I don't get it. My phone hardly ever loads the pictures. Didn't these. Any suggestions?
I was going to ask the same thing.4 way front stage?
