It is done. My aftermarket projectors use H1 bulbs for both high and low beam. I used “error free” Auxito LEDs and just to be safe used my obd tool to toggle LEDs to present.

Low beams dropped right in. High beams not so much. I had to remove the high beam bulb mounts as the LEDs would not fit through the holes. Nothing a minute or two of filing couldn’t fix. Nerve racking to deal with the small screws holding them on. One slip and into the headlights they go. To insure not to loose the mounting screws when putting them back in, I super glued the screws to my screw driver which held long enough to get them started. Oh how I wish the screw driver was magnetized.

Headlight aim was a bit off on both so that got dealt with. Pain in the rear on these as the adjusters are on the back of the lamp That means I had to make an adjustment, mount the headlights, remove and readjust multiple times. Hopefully I got it right this time.

So far no flickering or warning lights. Inside a dark garage, the light output is noticeably brighter than the incandescent bulbs I have been using. We shall see how it looks tonight after dark. Hopefully it was worth the aggravation.

Thanks to the fine folks posting your experiences on the headlight upgrades and tips. There is a wealth of information to be found here.

That would be a pain to adjust them. I'm guessing you can't use the factory locations to adjust? It's still a pain in the butt, but much easier than removing the housing each time.
