So as everybody knows the factory quad headlights are pathetic. I did a lot of research trying to find a headlight upgrade that didn’t require putting in projectors. Headlightexperts.com had exactly what I needed. It was around $100 for low beam and $100 for high beam. They claimed that the beam pattern was made for the reflector type headlights so they wouldn’t blind on coming traffic. They were correct, the pattern looks just like factory except a whole lot brighter. The bulbs are 4,000 lumens. I’ve had them for a few months now and I couldn’t be happier with them for a $200 upgrade. I’ve had the cheaper eBay kits and it seemed like they only worked half of the time and weren’t nearly as bright as they claimed. Same with the HID’s, they were always having some kind of problem!

What brand?
LEDs don't produce a beam pattern on their own, the housing produces the pattern. The LED chips can be made to duplicate the halogen bulb hot spot but the reflector makes the pattern.
As long as they're clocked at 3 and 9 any decent LED will give the right pattern.

Headlight experts is the brand. I’m not sure if they actually manufacture the bulbs or not. I’ve just always heard people complain about led’s in a reflector type headlight blinding on coming traffic, but the pattern on these look very similar to the factory bulbs. I clocked them how the instructions said to.

And yes I know the bulbs don’t make the pattern the reflectors do

Looks like they're just a supplier, not a manufacturer. Glad you found what you like, the 'headlight road' can be an expensive one to travel.

I'm assuming the output shot is with your high beams on? If not, dude you are going to kill someone.

I didn’t think to get any good comparison pics of before and after so I apologize for the lack of good pictures showing the difference

Now that i look at it I think the before pictures are the factory low beams and the after pictures are the led high beams so the output looks a little more exaggerated than it actually is

Did you buy the cancelling kit with it? It's an option on the site you posted. Thinking about ordering these as long as they don't blind oncoming cars?

I’m not 100% certain that the truck needed the cancelers but I ordered them just to be certain. No warning lights came on. So either it didn’t need them or it did need them and they’re doing what they’re supposed to. I’ve got to warn ya though it’s very tight getting everything to fit inside of the headlight housing and getting the back of the headlights closed up, but it does all fit without having to cut the housing. I would’ve loved to have bought a nice set a projector headlights and the conversion harness but I just couldn’t get myself to put that much into headlights. I live in the country so there’s a lot of deer jumping out in the road and the pathetic factory headlights just wasn’t cutting it anymore. This was a much cheaper alternative to changing the whole housing.

OOOOH Nice illumination / pattern. I have been kinda unimpressed with my 2018 Tradesman headlights, and I didn't want to put in a light bar to block my trans radiator. This will be my next upgrade. Thanks for the info

No problem! It’s a very nice upgrade for $200. My factory tradesman headlights were down right pathetic for a $54,000 truck
