Does anyone run LED headlights system? I was looking at these as a replacement for my stock bulbs. I tried xenon HID, but they crapped out in less than couple months. Seems like many stores sell the LED bulbs which are plug and play installation and some even come with lifetime warranty. Seems like this one is a pretty good deal, RAM led headlights

they also seem to be integrated with canbus system to stop the flickering with the canceller option.

Any experience with those from users here?

Ok I should be good in this one...without mentioning "hid"... Would led be better in a projector housing or the stock quads? Or no difference?

Too much $$... I dont care about lighting that much.. Wanted something a little brighter than stock and I'm worried these leds may not be too street friendly.

Just buy a good hid set , I had mine for 5 years without no issues at all.

Even cheap one are not so bad just look some review. A friend have a hid 60 $ eBay slim canbus kit for 2 years now and no issue at all.

One of my ballast stopped working 1 month ago and I decided to try again the halogen bulb. And this is so bad vs the hid. I decided to buy again an hid kit. I was looking to buy the Morimoto kit but with the canadian dollar so bad it was too costly. So I bought the kit below. According to the reviews it seem as good as the Morimoto for half the price. For the less than the price of the Morimoto I got 3 ballast and 4 bulb ( spare parts... )

Know what you mean. I was a bit disappointed with the headlights on my new 1500.

Let us know how those bulbs work.

The ultras are definitely an improvement over stock.. Especially the high beams.

I am keeping the opt7 fogs (9006) over the ultra though. They are 100xs better.

Austin; I used those Ultra's a few years ago in another vehicle and was really disappointed with them. They lasted like 2-3 months on my daily driver....

On the other hand to the OP:

I know a lot of guys recommend HID, but went with a full LED setup on my rig. Here's some shots:

Low beam / fog

And for the fun of it, 36" LED light bar. :naughty:

Unless you're local to them like me, I would pass on ddm. They're stuff is VERY hit or miss... I've had sets that work great and ones that I have to keep changing out. They stand behind the product and will always replace if needed though
