Well the headlights I'm doing came early so i started them early (much to the dissatisfaction of my father) but got em tore apart. Stripped the chrome from the main portion using oven cleaner. **** works great. I'll get them all painted up later this week and post pics if the process and final product. I am going to reuse the sealant already on the headlights as it is brand friggin new but i will also make double sure with some clear silicone.

So i guess i never updated this. So here goes.

Using a dremel and an 80g drum from these little nubs off to make the opening a perfect circle

Then using the drum, shave down to this inner ledge

The projector attaches to the housing with this washer and jamnut

Using the drum, shave down where the bulb shield attaches
Using a small cutting bit, cut this relief in the circle opening to allow the high beam solenoid wires to come through. May need to enlarge it slightly if you add any accessories lights to the projector.

Easiest way I've found to attach the stupid square halos (i personally think they're overplayed, tacky, and annoying) is to drill 2 3/16" holes on either end of the headlight bucket and safety wiring them in with jewelers wire

For dumb square halos, 2 small 3/16" holes on each side, far enough apart to match the corners of the led. Then wrap jewelers wire around the led strip and both ends through the hole. Braid these together. Then, twist the 2 braids on both sides of the housing together. This is called safety wiring. I figure 99% of people wouldn't know what that is so there's an explanation and here's a very informative and kinda boring video on it
