Lol they don't necessarily have to be aftermarket ones either. I'd like to see what everyone is doing with their stock ones

Okay, I will kick it off as I just finished mine. It is currently plasti dipped and I plan on taking that off and painting with semi gloss...

Day I brought home vs. current

CM, keep in mind he lives in Arizona. I question how plastidip will hold up during harsh winters with all the salt used and the constant pelting of frozen rain/ice/salty **** mist/crazy bugs in late spring. Just some food for thought.

We don't get snow, but plenty of rain and my dip has chipping really bad. I guess from rocks I dunno. Looks like poop. lol

We don't use salt up here, just sand, anything dipped on the front of your vehicle gets so many rock chips.

Actually everything gets so many rock chips haha. Sucks.

I've never had an issue with the plasti dipped front or rear bumper on my 2nd gen. I live in North Dakota mind you...still holding up good after 3 years. I touch it up every so often, maybe once in the spring but that's really it.

^yea that grill is horrendous!

Plasti dip seems to be diff for everyone. Be sure to prep properly and it may last longer. But if you plan on permanent why not just paint it?

Mine has held up good for 2 months so far in Oregon. Very wet, no salt, no freezing weather or super hot. I have one spot where it wants to begin to peel up on a taped off edge but seems like it would hold for a long time.
