Once you get it to that point, its super easy to maintain. I spend about 30 minutes start to finish to wash it and blow it off. I would highly recommend Undrdog for a protective coating. I have it on my wifes Jeep and its amazing stuff! And you can "cough" run it through a car wash and it will be fine.

Used to ride with a MB Executive from MB of North America. . Recall him mentioning in the 70s that MB did a test on interior temperatures of vehicles based upon color. 2 MB s were parked side by side in a parking lot on a sunny day. Windows up, one white, the other black, with a thermometer hung from the rear view mirror of each. The white MB was about 18° cooler. At the time MB specs required that AC reduce the outside temperature by 18°. Thus a white vehicle is cooler than a black vehicle (with windows rolled up).
He also mentioned that MB research indicated that white is the most visible and safest color for riding highways, particularly if your vehicle is disabled and you are parked in the breakdown lane.
