If you have an aftermarket radio installed in your Ram, I'd love to see what it looks like in your dash. Bonus points for year/model of your Ram and Brand/Model of your radio.

How do they look?

I’ve got a 2014 1500 Tradesman with a pioneer 4500NEX installed in it. It’s got wires and wireless CarPlay and android auto. It loos good and runs circles around the oem units





I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but man, do they ever come up with some great ideas.

Looks nice. I tried buying a UAS through here but got shafted. Next is doing what you did to my 18 Tradesman.

I bought it through crutchfields. I paid them an extra $25 to make up the harness, well worth it. It made it a half hour install. It was easy to do and I only wish I had done it sooner.

I could have added it, but I never liked it with when I had free trials on my oem unit.

Pioneer avh4300nex here. Even though I could never get it to display vehicle information like the speedo or tire pressure like Michael. Still couldn’t be any happier.

Wheel controls work?? I was looking at adding this model and a backup camera too.

The wheel controls work and so does my oem backup camera. Just gotta get the idata modules so all oem controls work.

The radio you want, then the following.
I bought my radio plus all the stuff listed from crutchfields. I also paid them an extra $25 to make up a harness so I didn’t have to. With them doing the harness for me, it was all plug and play.

Correct. Get the aftermarket radio and those things in the list and everything will work as it should.

I put a new head unit in my 2010. Has CarPlay and backup camera hookup. Planning on getting the tailgate camera soon. Goes nicely with the two 12s under the backseat lol.

I don’t have the picture anymore but this is what I have in mine currently.

It’s the boss audio bvcp9685a. It’s not anything crazy good but it’s better than the stock unit. I looked at a few alpine units and came really close to getting the Pioneer 1400nex but this Boss was a good deal and it paired up well with steering wheels controls using a PAC interface
