I am trying to decide weather to level my 17 PW. I am only going to run 35s leveled or not...probably a 285/75-17 if I don’t and a true 35/12.50 if I do. I like the idea of finally having a completely stock truck that can handle 35 inch tires without having to modify the suspension as all of my previous trucks have needed suspension lifts to achieve this but after a while issues start creeping up. Part of me wants that extra 1.5 up front just don’t know if it’s worth the gamble on a truck that is already bad ass completely stock. Thanks.

Personally I like the stock height w/35s. Looks a little more proportionate than with a level just my two cents. But you could always level it and get bigger tires later but I feel like of you do your gonna wish you had 37s...lol Pic of my rig when I had 35s and stock suspensiond50d06ebd70ca606eed98ecea18856d9.jpg1986de4b95fbd8a94b44250390441a6d.jpg

I’d agree with that statement. I just put 35s on and feel like I could have went bigger. I have stock suspension.

Worth the gamble? A leveling kit is not much of a gamble...

If you are only running 35’s then you dont even need a leveling kit... unless you want a level truck.

I've ran trail grapplers for years and loved them. Decided to switch it up on this truck simply because I was bored. I'll probably go back to them once these wear out.

I feel like it is a cheapass way to level the truck. However, I have not had a lick of issues with it (i went with truxxx, but a spacer is a spacer). The kit I bought did come with the shock relocation brackets, but when I took some measurements during the install it seemed as if the shocks would bottom out under compression without bumpstop extensions... so I did not use them.

If money was not an object I would have just gone straight to thurens setup with white body shocks.... or Kings LOL.

Is the Thuren kit truly an upgrade in quality and performance over the factory equipment?

Is the sky blue? [emoji23]. Don Thuren is pretty much the guru of the PW suspension. I have his front coils and front track bar so far been great.

More like Ram suspension... he doesnt really have any power wagon specific parts.

Well actually, looks like new for this year is a front track bar specific to the power wagon?

Your all’s confidence makes me confident. Probably the route I will go...will still probably stick with a 35 on factory wheels.
Thanks Guys

If you like the look of some room in the fenders you will be happy. Otherwise you will be pist you didnt go 37’s (or stick with stock and 35’s).

Hard to wrap my mind around being able to run a 37 with a leveling kit. I’ve had two Different F-250 super duty’s with 6 inch kits and 37s. These power wagons are amazing. I just don’t want to rub like crazy.

well mine isn't leveled and I"m running the 315 70 17 close to 35's by 12.5 and I think there's too much room. I'd be annoyed if i leveled it without 37's.

I agree.. If your only going to 35's, then keep it stock and if you want more room then you can always level it later. I'm currently running 34" 275/65/R20 KO2's with loads of extra space.

Is the track bar absolutely necessary with the overland kit or would springs and shocks get the job done?
