I'm new to this. I have a 2008 dodge ram 1500 and was wanting some good opinions on what leveling kits look the best. As well as if there was a leveling kit that 35/12.5/18 would fit without rubbing. Or would I have to do something else.

Look into the Bilstein 5100's to level it but for something cheaper than replacing the shocks Hellbent Steel makes a great spacer kit. To fit that size tire you would need spacers or aftermarket wheels with a negative offset and you may need to trim the bottom of the fender liners.

If your mileage is getting up there, I would personally go with the Bilsteins.

I've had installed a leveling kit, wheel spacers and fender flares to fit the 35's. So far so good with the exception of the harsher ride up front. I was told that wheel spacers are a weak link between rim and axle and that serious power will cause them to break apart. Sounds legit but I'm problem free so far. Good luck

Just some advice for someone that just put a leveling kit in an 2008, I live up north and the front end was rusted together, had to buy all new bushings and bolts for the "just in case scenario" I emptied two cans of PBlaster in the front end bushings and bolts and ended up having to use 1 new bolt, 1 new bushing and 1 new nut. Saved myself allot of money on replacing parts.

with a 2.5" level kit you can run 35's but will have a stuffed look, however with stock wheels you can't run 12.5" tires without rubbing on the upper control arm. I see you said 18" wheels, what backspacing or offset are you looking to get?

I would also recommend a 1/4 inch wheel spacer, the tire comes real close to the upper control arm.

If you would like more pictures let me know I will get you more, weather is changing here so I can not guarantee how clean everything is. Had the new tires in a couple inches of snow tonight, they seemed to clean better than what I used to have but then again a couple inches isn't really a story teller. I drive on the highway every day and they are really quiet, quieter than the tires on my wife's Honda Civic.
