About a year ago, I swapped my license plate lights out for LED. Recently, one started flickering then went out. When changing the bulb, I noticed the socket had corrosion in it and looked burnt. I pulled the socket off to get the part number and saw the connector on the harness also had corrosion. I was going to buy the Mopar socket as I've seen people having an error message when using aftermarket sockets. The harness is over $70 for Mopar but I saw one on Amazon for $12. If I buy the one on Amazon and use the Mopar socket, would I still get the error message or will it be fine?
