Lifetime warranty pkg?

Ok, ever since I purchased my pw I have been getting emails from FCA about purchasing the lifetime warranty for the truck at a discounted price. I think it's like $1299.00. Has anyone purchased this plan? Or know exactly what is covered? Also do u think it's worth purchasing if I plan to keep truck at least 5 years. And if u did purchase what kind of price did u pay? Thanks.

If you are going to street the truck, and off-roading means dirt roads, I’d get the warranty. So many electronics on these trucks, and the way the dealerships fix them these days is to just throw parts at them until the error goes away. Repairs get expensive fast.

If you are going to really off-road the truck, it’s probably a waste of money unless you have a good relationship with your service department. One look under a truck that really gets wheeled and most dealerships are going to tell you you’re on your own, and taking them to court is going to be a losing battle even if you win.

That is less than half the price of the best price I have ever seen, BUY IT, just be sure it is really the Maximum Care through FCA.

For $1200 I would get it. Just about any repair would probably cost you at least that at the stealership.

I would read each response twice!
1. Also, never seen or heard of the price you are being offered. Suspect that it is not the lifetime warranty.
2. 5yrs is right at the time sensors and other electronic parts start to fail. As stated, we have a ton of them and they are expensive to replace.
I purchased the lifetime on our 2018 because we tow and we put 200-300k miles before we replace. The cost of the warranty is negotiable, but the typical discount that I have seen is $500 to $750 off of retail. But, not all dealers are quoting the same retail.

@Fitz87gn is right....thats a REALLY low price for the any Mopar lifetime warranty, so proceed with caution.

IMHO its either the Mopar choices (MaxCare, Added Care, etc) or no extended warranty at all.

Ok thanks for all ur help and advice. It is the max care lifetime warranty from FCA. It's a memorial day special good till 9pm tonight. $850.00 off and $ 71.00 down with 0% fin for 12 mo. It does say total cost is $1299.00. Which is lowest quote they have sent me yet.

Was it the email from Chrysler Warranty Direct???? I just got that one today.... it's more then $1299 I bet. I just talked To Jason at CWD about one for my truck and mine just cost me $2,600 for the Max Care Lifetime with a $200 deductible. If your gonna do it, give him a call, (517) 662-0400. He was super nice and answered all my questions!!!

I got the same e-mail. Called, was quoted $3700 for Max Care lifetime. No where near $1299 or even $2600.

See which package it is. I have the max care that is bumper to bumper. Other ones only cover parts of the truck.

MaxCare is the one that covers everything. The other plans are "Added Care" and I think "Added Care Plus"

There was a price increase on April 3rd, I bought mine right before it and paid ~2600 after a discount code I found on the internet (and on this forum too). Discount was good for 365 off IIRC.

The one advertised for the $1299 wasn't for the Max Care Lifetime warranty if I remember right.... I already deleted the email. I think it was for one of the lower level plans.
