Looking to get headers for my 2015 dodge ram 1500 5.7, was told TSP was the way togo but the are very expensive, any advice on which headers are the best togo with, currently stock, would be my first performance mod. Hoping todo high flow cats, cat back exhaust, upgraded 6.4 intake manifold, and some cams with tune. Would the headers be the best mod to start with?

I got ARH headers on my 2500

Liked them, but for the price, i feel they should have included a block off plate and O2 harness extensiona

Do a search, I forget the brand but have seen recent posts about some affordable long tubes that members have had good results installing.
I have Stainless Works, been very happy with them, but as mentioned much debate on spending 2k-3k$ on headers.
Good luck with your upgrades & be sure to update the forum, I would be interested to see which brand you go with & your results.

The ebay headers have a fairly decent rep,if you buy the stainless versions. No way in hell should a set of headers cost $2,000+

If you think TSP is expensive....don't look at ARH or Stainless works

Hello, I had 2007 and 2009 with ARH on a 5.7. They are expensive, buy once cry once.
They fit perfectly and make my truck sound like a monster.
Mine did come with the O2 extensions.
My truck with headers was running lean. Hemi fever tune is the way to go.
I would buy gears to, 4.56 is the way to go.

If he has the 8 speed,3.92's are way more then adequate. The 8 speeds 4.71:1 first gear negates needing deeper then 3.92's unless you're running 37" tires or taller.
He'd benefit more with a higher stall convertor then gears

I realize this is an old post, but I see you are still around, so I thought I would ask how you like your Stainless Works LT headers? I've been eyeing a pair along with Borla Touring exhaust.

No regrets with the SW headers.
I have MBRP cat back with their “ muffler rated 1/2 way between stock & aggresive” & a y-pipe that goes almost to the muffler.
Sounds great IMO, would sound even better with a cam, which I hope to do someday.
I have no experience with Borla but have read lots of good things about them, I will definitely check them out when it’s time to replace my muffler.
No drone, that I hear with my setup but realize that results may vary depending on individual sensitivey or combinations of the exhaust systems.

Awesome, thank you for the update. Did you get a tune after putting the headers on?

Yes, from what I understand you don’t have to but will get better results from a tune.
I went with HP & have it setup to run 93 octane & tweaks I don’t know about/understand but it’s been a few years & still runs great.
2015 & later have a locked pcm you can take off & send to get unlocked, I got a remanufactured one for mine to tune & kept the stock one in case I ever need it.
I like the HP tune, did engine & transmission, not cheap but once bought can be adjusted/change settings anytime.

Looks like I'm gonna end up with the SW headers as my TSP's that I ordered beginning of March won't be here for at least another 10-12 weeks.
I'm trying to decide how to finish out my exhaust past the SW "leads", would you happen to have a pic of your setup? Thinking about just keeping it dual 3" all the way out with two 3" in, 3" out mufflers to my 5" tips

If you're thinking of re-using the stock pipes after the muffler, they're only 2.25",most catbacks after the muffler are 2.5"

Definitely not the stock pipes...the entire exhaust will be new when I'm done, just want to do it right the first time. The stainless works leads are true 3" duals all the way back to the factory muffler area, so I'm trying to decide what to do from there.
