I'm gonna say 1943 from that 43-12 mark on the smaller plate. It looks as if it's an addition to the other numbers based on the size and how deep the mark is.

Love that Green one that has been restored. Boy, what a difference 70 or so years of use will create.

I was thinking '43 as well based off the same numbers. But, I wasn't sure they were made that early for the civilian market. Halfway hoped some Guru on here could check it in a registry or something like that.

Well I'm sure you could order anything if you had the money. I have a 63 w100 power wagon with pto which at my grandparents house. All other powe wagons from that year I've seen and w200's. So it must be a special order.

Now I just need to find a decent bed.

That search led me into oogling at all the surplus fixed up Deuce and a Halfs and 5 Tons out there. You can get a 'bobbed 5 ton with all the goodies for less than what a new 4x4 Utility Quad cost. ...but that is a whole 'nuther story for another day.

And for "cheap", if you could deal with just the "tractor" configuration, check this one out, with super low, 5300 miles for only like $8300.

It would be one helluva drive back home though, "purring" along at like 50 mph Lol.

Yeah man those things are awesome. I think someone here is selling the one they used un the movie with Schwarzenegger and Johnny Knoxville. It's like 4000 bucks.

Congrats on the new (old) power wagon. I have been trying to talk my friend's dad to sell me his. It sets in his backyard and gets moved every now and then. Keep us posted on the restore.
