Looking for answers 2018 vs. 2019 Rebel front ends

I've been looking at replacing my front winch bumper on my 2019 Rebel. While looking I see many that fit the 2018 and the ones that say fits the 2019 [accept the Rebel].
Can anyone tell me what is the difference in the two different years that make t he 5th gen, 2019 and up not fit? Is there a difference in the frame or what?

2018 was the last year of the bodystyle before this current one.

Thank you. I'm aware of that. I'd like to know what the difference is in the two that a bumper for a 2018 Rebel won't fit on a 2019.

The Gen5 trucks have a different frame then the Gen4. With the new sheet metal of the Gen5, the body lines and grill styling is different, there will probably be clearance issues also
If you really want a Gen4 bumper for the truck, you might be able to get a stock metal bumper from a salvage yard to test for on your Gen5 to see if you can make it for. Be sure to report back your findings

No. I just want to know why when I look at the different bumpers it always says "except for Rebel" in the discription.

Because they’re completely different trucks. Nothing is the same

So the 2019 1500 Loredo and other model 1500 trucks are completely different from the Rebel?

Assuming you meant Laramie, yes. The Rebel has uses a totally different front bumper. And both are completely different than 4th gen Rebels.
