I have a project that requires more information. I bumped into a Lincoln Navigator before Christmas at 4 miles an hour, which resulted in some front end damage. I would appreciate some exploded pictures of the front clip, from the windshield to the tow hooks. I will need to replace the radiator support structure forward, along with the driver's fender and hood. If there are any dimensions/specs as well? I am having a hard time tracking down any factory service manuals (USB drives) for my model year.
This is my first post to the site, and I want to be honest and direct with you folks:
No, I don't want to total out the truck with the insurance company offer. I only have 134k miles on the truck, purchased in 2017 with 54k miles. Yes, I can afford another truck, but I don't want to waste this one and frankly appreciate the challenge of repair.
Yes, there is some frame damage, in front of the sway bar mounts. This is why I am looking for dimensions/specs.
The truck is fully operational/drive-able except for a small radiator tank leak, 8 oz each driving. I slightly modified the body panels, headlight and cooling system to operate as designed after the crash. All reciprocating parts spin as designed. Though the body shop hacked through my fan shroud, which I will replace.
I have restored 3 muscle cars (all Mopars) in my lifetime. Fabrication, frame/support, mechanicals are within my skill set.
There is no minimization of safety with the minor damage on the truck in my opinion.
In short, looking to this group for help with information. Opinions are welcome, but not required.
