got the headers on, and havent got the y-pipe (hope airram has it here by the weekend) but i just couldnt resist starting it.. it was in my 1 stall garage that it barely fits in, and the somebitch was LOUD holy ****! i wanna leave it like this :********: hopefully it will be almost as loud with the cutout open
i didnt have any of the heat tubing on or anything so i just ran it for a few mins and shut it off.. i dont even have the o2 sensors in yet so i got a code obviously..
i'm having a hell of a time getting a torque wrench in there so i just guessed for now until i can find something smaller
thats it for now, just thought i'd let you guys know how its going.. i will post up a new thread in a week or so when i get it all done to show off my new modS!
btw.. is it bad for the truck to run open headers? seems like there would be no backpressure... i wanna drive it to work. lol
and, do i have to remove the front driveshaft to get the pacesetter y-pipe in? i just cut my old **** out so i didnt have to remove it..
