I have long tube headers. No cat. I had a y pipe and MagnaFlow. It was super raspy and loud. Just installed x pipe and 2 Borla mufflers and 5” tips. What’s louder? They are just too tame for me
Thanks

What Borla Muffler did you use? We can set you up with some small bullet styles that would make it louder

I have a DI/DO Borla ProXS and 5" tips, it's a bit louder than I expected, just as loud as the 14" Magnaflow Tru-X I had, but much better sounding. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the sound.

OP, did you try deleting the resos? While I won’t do it, others here say it ups the noise...

Since the Pro XS is a 19" muffler, I'd say anything shorter should provide more noise. With you having long tube headers and no cats, going with too small a muffler will produce rasp. If you like the Borla sound, you may want to check out their XR-1. Like Nick said, the bullet style mufflers will give you more noise.....I like the Areo Turbine 3030 or 3030XL. I've been toying with trying out the 3030XL. That muffler sounds really good in all the videos I've seen....very deep and mean sounding.

I currently have a FM 50HD on my truck and it's a little louder than the Pro XS I had on prior, but may not be enough of a difference for you.

Well I completely missed that you already have the ProXS mufflers installed. Whoops. Still, its pretty loud on my truck but maybe the DI/DO had to do with that? It's definitely as loud as my 14" Magnaflow was, just a deeper tone.

LOL...yeah, I've had a lot of mufflers. I had a Spintech 9000XL on for about 2 weeks. It was a little too loud for my taste. Had a good sound though and the build quality is excellent. I still have that one if you're ever interested in giving one a go.

Put in an electric cutout. You can be loud as damn near can be and can quite it when needed!

I am going to be adding cutouts. Going to be awesome.

If you want loud, that will do the job. You would think I would prefer driving my beast around most the time, but it spends most it's time parked because of how much more fun it is to drive the loud and fast little racer! Lol...

Thanks for the offer. I’m happy with my Carven progressive. I couldn’t had considered the spintech before the Carven though.
