She's got more in her than that!

But I've got more in me than a 6 pack... LOL. Tomorrow when I'm not all tired from passing yet another test and installing heavy ass wheel/tire combos in 100+ degree heat I'll play with the piles since I have nothing better to do. Probably should finish some side work, but it can happen after fun time =D

LMAO. That would've required getting the orange Challenger out of the garage. That and being completely insane. Now that I have the tires I'm actually really impressed with the cheapo 5100+Eibach+Bilstein spring combination. All the small bump compliance is awesome at 33F/31R and I hit about 85mph on the stretch of gravel I topped out at 65 before. I really wasn't trying to push it that hard, but wasn't paying attention and the truck just stayed smooth and controlled. On the BFG's that would've hit rough and ****** around 60mph while these damn Toyos just stayed like butter the entire time. To say I'm in love would be an under statement.

Those toyos are like big buttery pillows. I'm legitimately jealous of that setup. But my motor would hate me....honestly. I validate my boring setup with my mpgs lol. If I decide to keep this truck I need to do the dif swap and get some 4.56s than I'll be game to run the big heavy meats.

It's in the plans. P-cor tray, winch setup, difs and gears, 1.5 body lift, 37s.

Or a power wagon/ford tremor with the 7.3 gasser. I'm done with modern diesels.

One can only dream

Oh man. The dream setup for me would be a new platty with the 7.3, a modest lift, and 37's. Those seats... if you've ever had spinal surgery are the bomb. But that would require way overspending on a truck =(.

That's why we gotta get one after the idiots pay the premium at the dealers! Hell I have seen nice Power wagons by me going for a song and dance. Only thing I don't like is the stupid electronic gizmos.

Have you seen the dyno sheet on the 7.3?!?! Peak torque is right off idle, my god, tire burner with a 10spd trans. If it drives like it's hyped to be that's gonna be a bad *****.

Yea the gizmos on fords are what doom them. I've had an Eddie Bauer and a Limited, both were sold due to the nickel and dime song and dance you play. I was slightly disappointed by the 7.3 for it's displacement, but I'll reserve any serious judgment until it's on 5 stars dyno running a tow tune. If it's anything like the other ford engines there is a literal **** ton left on the table.
