OK just finished the job! Started 4 hours ago lol. That has got to have been the quickest I've ever cut a muffler off and redid the muffler back on any car or truck... ever. I got a kit from Amazon for ~$150 it was pre-bent mandrel bent pipes to convert the single side exit to dual rear exit. The magnaflow 12388 is a 24" straight through glass pack with a single 3" in and dual 2.5" out. I was going to weld it but the clamps were good enough and man has this quarantine made me lazy lol. Anyway I wanted it to look sorta like the 4th gen rear exit under the bumper so without cutting into the rear bumper, I found some 4" tips that looked pretty good.

Here's the before, after (without tips), and after with tips..... and heck 1 pic of the muffler[emoji2957]ba5d7c490be1ec640d94730ef27ad18e.jpgca8c2e05b3e9aeaa8a1d40d5ef63919b.jpgd4744c43e97ee93e5e20c3a7ef778d81.jpg8df3b18fd34bf2b0cf6b4a6d1756a22f.jpg9b7dc1d0bfa786cb87dbbc501e7660b3.jpg

Looks good, bet it sounds better as well. I just did a muffler delete myself, it makes a world of difference versus that 30lb garbage can.

Sounds great! Also, and I’m assuming this is from the drop in back pressure, but my city MPG has gone up considerably from about 10.5 driving like a grandma to 13.2 driving normally. Ive never seen over 11 when only driving around town until now. I guess that 30lb stock pos was getting a little long in the tooth. Highway hasn’t changed much... ranging from 16-18 depending on wind speed and direction and hills, etc. but overall better sound, better looks, better mpg. What’s not to like:)

I've only gone through one tank since doing the muffler delete and I've had no noticeable change in mpg (14.5-15.5 mixed), though that may have more to do with liking the new sound and laying into the gas pedal a little more to hear it purr.

Haha I had 145k miles on the original system. Nothing on it has ever been changed. I'm guessing maybe the muffler was getting clogged? Not really sure... all I know is once I put the MF on it and started it and drove it like I stole it a CRAP LOAD of black stuff flew out the 2 tailpipes. I've never seen anything like it. I had to clean the exhaust tips lol they were polished stainless but looked like coated matte black by the time I was done

How’s it sound? I’m actually doing the same thing. I have an outdoorsman and just picked up two stock duel tail pipes off a ram. Was the muffler a direct fit? I want a little bit of sound but nothing crazy something as close to stock as possible. I was looking at the b2 mufflers but came across this one for half the price so just curious how it went.

What all extra did you need in order to convert to the dual exhaust? I’m guessing a hanger and isolater on driver side?

No extra hanger... i used the 4 universal hangers that came in the box with the 2 tailpipes.
Here is the link to the exact pipes i bought:

Tailpipe-Only Mandrel-Bent Dual Truck Exhaust Kit without Tips https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NZ1SMZ7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_fYdQEbEHN3Z3M

Very easy install and i ordered the tips from eBay
