Seized bolts on the exhaust manifold. Ram has known they have a problem with the titanium bolts on the exhaust manifold. Instead of owning up to the problem and paying for the parts that don't work they force the consumer to pay for them. Just had my truck in for the 6-7 service and had to pay an additional $5,000.00 fo r a new exhaust manifold because 1 of the 4 bolts broke off at the head. They couldn't get it out. I asked if they make sure not to use titanium bolts this time. I was told Ram no longer uses them because of this. If this in a known issue, pay for the repair. $5,000.00 because of bolt is a joke. How do I get Ram to cover their mistake?

Titanium? Those are stainless steel lol. And you are about the millionth person in line complaining about the same thing so good luck getting paid. If anyone was going to win a lawsuit it would have happened by now.

Never go to a dealership. For anything. Ever. Not even if your girlfriend works there.

I'll fly down there and do it for 4500$ That's all-in, I'll cover my own air fare, and after the jobs done, I'll give you a free, only used once, harbor freight belt sander and socket set, absolutely free before I fly back home.

And I'll buy you lunch at the Texas Roadhouse when I'm done.

Let me know.

In all honesty though, run from that dealer. Run really fast, don't look back, and name names.

I just noticed he lists a 6.7 Cummins as his engine in his avatar, which he conviently left out of his post,so that does change things up a bit,as i know i was under the impression he was referring to a 5.7 Hemi

All I can say is that you got bent over and F-CKED hard without any Vaseline .For letting a dealership charge you that much for what little work they did on your truck. You should of done it yourself or gotten a mobile mechanic to do the work on your truck for you....

Actually his profile says "cummings". Which makes me wonder.

And if RAM cared about customers, they'd have a fix for the hydraulic failure on the ABS, traction control & cruise control by now.

Mine failed five years ago. It's been on recall for four years. "Nope, we can't fix it".

My ABS, traction control & cruise control has been out since Oct 2025. They must build them one at a time in someone's home Gurage. I did get a text saying it should be here within the next 2 weks
