mds question cylinder 1 not deactivating

Have 2013 5.7 runs fine until mds activation. cylinder 1 not deactivating.
Shut engine off and restart runs fine. Has
P1411 code. Changed #1 solenoid same
issue. Replaced cam and lifters has around
5,000 miles with new cam.

You are better off just dissableing MDS Tune it out and forget about it the whole system is a pain in the ass/annoying saves little to no gas.

Check the electrical for that selenoid. See if the voltage is correct and if its grounding. Harness could have been damaged if you recently did major work on the engine
