I recently picked up a 08 Ram 2500, 4x4, 5.7L, this past summer, with 240K (Just over 243k now). Still runs very strong, no major issues yet. It is also all stock. Can't really tell so far if anything has been replaced.
Definitely needs new bushing, ball joints, tie rod ends, shocks, basically all suspension components.
This is my upgrade from my 97 gen-2 1500.
I will try to post a photo to my profile soon.

Yes it is extremely well taken care of even know it is my work / daily driver truck.

I bought the truck with 25,000 miles on it 10 years ago and i do commercial / residential clean outs and recycling with it.
I tow several different trailers with this truck as well and have never touched the transmission at all..... and i mean, no fluid or filter change ever since i have had the truck..... unreal right?
I am very pro active in the maintenance of this beassst...... i tend to replace parts that usually will fail leaving you stranded broke down on the side of the road whether they are bad or not.....
Since i am fairly new posting here i will eventually start a thread listing all of the parts i have replaced over the years.... some of these parts are never replaced by anyone {LOL} with these trucks.

That’s awesome man....I just picked up my first truck a few days ago....it’s an 03 1500 with 177xxx miles on it....it was a little higher than I wanted to get but you can tell someone really took good care of it....it had very minimal rust for its age and being a New England truck....it also has an aftermarket cold air intake, a turbo and the vacuum and boost gauges....I was thinking very similar to what you said as far as staying proactive by changing out parts before they give out...keeping up on oil changes by doing my own and getting high mileage oil....I really want to get get many more miles out of this truck

I started using Synthetic oil around 50,000 miles and have not looked back. i actually get about 1 more mile to the gallon highway and the engine runs about 5 to 10 degrees cooler.
Plugs 5 times and wires twice changed out since i got the truck as well. I have never touched the front gear oil and upon checking it last month it was factory fresh and clean and at the right level believe it or not.... looked like i had just changed it and i have never touched it...lol go figure right?
