First off, this thread is going to be the "mini" version of the complete thread I am planning on posting. Basically, I've probably spent about a month solid researching wheels, tires, sizes for both, fitment issues, suspension components, and of course the lowering kit. I have a complete list of part numbers, prices, and components that I'll post later in another thread.

Anyways, here are the before and after pictures in the meantime:

Before, stock height:

Mcgaughey 2/4 Deluxe Spindle Drop installed along with a few more suspension bits, and all loaded up to get the new wheels and tires installed:

Looks great, how about a shot from the front looking down the side to see how far out that wheel / tire sticks?

I'm very tempted to go this route with some factory TRX flares.
I love lowered trucks with flares.

The truck looks amazing. That color combo, drop, and wheels go perfect together.

Convert, for now.

Looks great, any rubbing or rough ride with the 2/4? Why the spindle, over the basic coil spring approach? Stock shocks?

would like to know the answer to this also!! haha my mechanic friend just told me not to cheap out on my drop kit and get spinddles for the front. i know springs only stiffen the ride up, but what do spiddles do to it and such?

Spindles allow you to keep the factory ride and will prevent any alignment issues. Only downside to them is that they will bring the front wheels out a tad. This isnt an issue for most people, but could cause rubbing issues if you are running a wide wheel/tire combo.
