Very cool, yours are pretty much exactly how I want mine. I will forgo the Hi-Lens high beams, though.

Heard a rumor that they will be making non-smoked versions of the V2 for release in the fall....I dont want to wait that long. I did find it funny, though, that Amazon was only going to ding me $9.00 to return ship the set of V1 that I have right now. They came in a pretty big box for only $9.00 shipping cost!

Can't beat that. It's about $50 to ship lights. It would be nice if they did. It would have been nice if they had a all black version. I just didn't like the chrome shrouds

Yeah, my stock big horn still has all of its chrome intact (and will remain that way) so I actually like the all-chrome setup. Which also happens to be the cheapest V1 finish anyway.....from your experience Im guessing because they are *all* chrome, underneath the flat or gloss black paint. So chrome shrouds cheap and easy!

I just wish they didnt smoke the DRL lenses because the dark lines on the front of a truck with chrome everything else dont seem to fit very well. I could probably get a V2 set and somehow swap in clear DRL lenses, but if I have to open them up anyway, I might as well just start with V1 as a base and change the DRL strips and be done with it.

Also still torn on what to use for low beams....was thinking Hikari for low and high beams, but if the Innovited set really does fit inside the housing, thats a good option too.

I should the innovative hid's delivered today to test and see if they are any better than the Hikaris

I picked up a set of 35w innovative hid's and 55w one's. I decided to stuff the 55w inside the housing to run for a while. Going to mock everything up tomorrow and test everything one more time before closing them up.

I'm going to see how hot they get before closing everything up for good. I've run 55w in the past and didn't have any issues

Tested the lights on the truck. 2 minor issues so far, the driver's side Hi-Lense has a very light flicker, only noticed it off the reflection on the bezel. I'll have to double check my settings with alphaobd. Not sure if I have the highs as led's. The other issue is the turns, they function perfect but get the hyper flash on the dash, no lights out, everything is set to led's already because I have switch backs in my quads. I gave the truck a good 20 seconds to adjust. Maybe just needs longer.

Here's with low's (Hikari led's)

Currently have drl's set to fogs so didn't test the drl function. Have everything wired to use the "parking" lights as drl's. All my connections are accessible through the bottom cover so If something isn't right I can change it

The Hi-Lens projector has some pretty nice light output.

Are the low side projectors decent or are they so-so?

They aren't bad. They definitely aren't a true projector. It's basically a projector lense with a plate that gives you the cut off line. But output quality isn't bad. I really want to upgrade those also but can't get myself to drop ~$350 for a projector and hid setup. Maybe down the road I'll open them up again and and swap them out.

Just received my V2's. Will be opening them up for paint and adding demon eyes. Debating swapping the low beam projectors for something better quality.

I plan on only using LED lamps and not going with HID's. I ordered hikari ultra's for the lows, and will start with using standard lamps for the highs as I have read some posts that the high beam projectors in these dont work as well LEDs vs halogen lamps.

Similar to others, i don't want to end up with $2000 into these, bought them cause of cost and want to add some touches without breaking the bank.

The Hi-Lense Led projectors are only $80. Not sure how long I'll stick with hid's. Just wanted to get some different options

I struggled real hard with leaving the low beams alone. But didn't want to spend another ~$350 for either a projector/hid setup or the MLED led projectors. I may in the future upgrade them if I still have the truck

HID Low beam protectors use a plate to obtain the cutoff. Dual beam protectors use a moving plate to switch the low beam cutoff in.

Here is the 98% operational complete build. I had to adjust how I wired the drl's. Originally had them wired as parking lights but when on the upper was white and the lower was orange. So I switched them over to the dedicated drl feed. I ran out of the connectors I was using so they are on their way along with some diodes that Jimmy07 used in his build to stop potential back feed of the parking lights into the drl feed. I may just use the "demon" eyes on the Hi-Lense as my parking lights since that will be the easiest to connect. May run it that way for a bit and see how it works.

Here are a few pics. Will get some night shots hopefully tonight and later will grab some daytime drl shots

Here's a couple drl shots. They seem to have a bluish tint to them in the daylight. Camera picks it up more than what it is.

Tonight was my first night drive with the new setup. Didn't get any pic's. It's raining so it was hard to judge the output. I may swap in the 35w kit tomorrow to see what that looks like. I will say that I had higher hopes on the 55w kit. Maybe because this kit fell more on the yellowish side of white, felt more oem like then the white of the led's I've been running. Plus with it raining it's harder to get a good judge on the output

The 35w will be truer to the color temp. I noticed the same when I tried the 55w ballasts. They wash out the white to make them look yellow.

Did you ever run them with LEDs? Do the hids make a big difference?

Yes I had the Hikari ultra led's in originally and bought 35w and 55w innovative hid's for comparison. I also am going to modify (swap locking rings and I have a 9005-h7 adapter) a set of h11 headlight revolution supernova v3's that I use in my quads and test them also. Currently my quads are brighter than these but don't have quite have the range
