Pricing will be the same for either tip...we just wanted to offer a second style for the guys that do not care for the lower profile of the knife edge. If you compare the pics, you will see that the outline of the rolled edge tip is much more pronounced and more noticeable from a distance.
Dave, I haven't even driven the truck yet to tell you about a sound difference in the cab. From the outside, there is no noticeable sound difference from the rolled edge 5" tip to the knife edge 5" tip though.
They are the same overall length. The rolled tip has more of an angle at the rolled edge, and it also has a smoother transition to its 3" inlet. The knife edge tip has less of an angle cut into the end, and it goes straight from 5" to 2.75". I think the angles are what makes them look like 1 is longer than the other.
finally got a pic after powder coat and install of the double-wall version:

Gorgeous! Can you post another pic dead on from the back, please?
Only got a few pics before it started raining, but maybe this will do:
Nick, all we have here right now is 1 set of the rolled Edge tips. The double walled knife edge tips are looking to be about another week out. Shoot me a PM if you would like to grab the set of rolled edge tips that is left.
