I few weeks ago I retuned the ram with my superchips and installed the economy tune to see what kind of increase of mpg I would see. At first it was great, I was seeing between 16 and 16.5 all city

Now my evic is telling me I'm in the 12s and I'm not sure why. I have been driving very short distances than I normally do, I'd say a few miles between stop and go. Would this effect the mileage or is the computer just freaking out on me?

Stop and go affects you mpg and also if your truck is not warmed up that can hurt you mpg' too. I see 10.5 on my truck

That could explain some. Next time I fill up ill put 93 in the tank and see if that does anything with this tune, doubtful but you never know until you try
