Just wondering if anyone knows how much a kit will cost for a 2010 5.7 and will it get rid of the lag I have when I stomp on the pedal?

You mean the coils? If so then no it won't get rid of the lag in the pedal. The way you can do that is by getting a tuner like a diablo, or the new superchips. That'll be way less than the new coils.

also a throttle body will help out the response considerably

The lag is caused by the drive by wire system. Nothing MSD puts out will help that. Lots of people claim better response with a ported TB and a programmer with throttle boost would probably help you out as well.
