Yes New 2016. And yet again this morning it did not want to start. This will make 2 fuel pumps, one fuel pump module, one TIPM, and repaired connector. It is at the dealership again now and will see what they come up with this time. I spoke with the rep in Orlando that works for FCA and he said they will be Lemon Lawing the truck but I have to deal with the breakdown queen until they can find a replacement. He said it could take 4 to 6 weeks. Does anyone have any insight on replacement vehicles that have gone thru the lemon law before?

Well I went on vacation this weekend and guess what. It broke down again. Fuel pump stopped working again. This time supposedly it was a bad connection. Had to go to a dealership in Ocala, FL and they put two damn scratches in the drivers door of my truck. I give up.

Hi Joshwaa,
I'm very sorry to hear about this experience! Could you PM me your VIN and the dealership information, along with more details regarding the concerns you had with the vehicle and the experience? I'd like to make sure all of your concerns are promptly addressed.

Thanks for your consideration in this I will be sending you a PM. Also the truck broke down again no fuel pressure this morning so she is in service again. So 5 times in for the same problem.

I forgot to mention to add insult to injury they gave me a minivan as my rental car. Also FCA said that it could take 6 weeks or more for me to get a replacement truck. Anyone know anything about this?

I had to lemon law a ram back in 2005. After about five trips to service for same issue. Once the dealer confirmed it would be lemon lawed about a week they just let me search the lot for what I wanted. I think max it was 2 weeks. That was after about a year of owning it though. I really did have a big problem getting a new one and dealer really helped out. Hope you get a new one soon. I know I went back to RAM and always will!

Problem I have is the the dealership does not have a truck like mine on any of their lots. I have been searching on the RamTrucks site thru inventory and I can not find any dealership that has one just like mine. Hope this process does not take too long.

Well the saga continues... I picked up my truck after its 5th service on Thursday. They said they can not find anything wrong with the truck. Took the kids to school on Friday morning and it started. Try to go get dinner tonight and guess what. It will not start. Just keeps cranking but no fuel. This is ridiculous. They agreed to lemon law my truck, but I am still driving the breakdown queen. There is my exact same truck at a dealership 7 mi from my house but still no new truck. Now it has to go back to service at the same dealership where the truck exactly like mine is sitting. But will they just swap me out and get it over with. Nope. I am really getting ticked off at Ram. Oh and they still have not reimbursed me for a rental I had to get on a Sunday from my second breakdown.

Have you not lawyered up yet. He should be dealing with this now. No more threats, get a lawyer, have them contact service. This dealer is dragging their feet, hoping to find a solution then they can avoid the swapping of trucks.

Yes I do have a lawyer that has been advising me and standing by to step in if needed. I just spoke with my sales person today and he sent me a screenshot of the truck status. Turns out that is was supposed to be on their lot on 1/29 however it was delayed and just was loaded onto the rail car on 1/31 with delivery date of 2/10 to 2/16. So I will be patient. Just wish they would let me just keep the rental car as they still can not fix my truck properly and just keep giving it back to me to break down again.

Got the truck back today finally after it's 6th service and them having it for 2 weeks with a Ram engineer looking it over. This time they replaced the PCM. So lets hope this holds till the replacement truck arrives. Fingers crossed.

Wow, quite the ordeal you're going through! I can't even imagine what that's like! You're a patient man.

It's also mind boggling how one truck can be so plagued with problems, and yet others (like mine - the first Ram I've ever owned) be virtually flawless.

Crazy!

Is the replacement a brand new one from the factory?
