My 2011 has the basic radio. I added a sub to it using a LC2i tapped tot he rear speakers at first. Sounded like crap. I then tapped the LC2i to the front speakers. Bingo! Sounds great.

try getting signal at the headunit, not after the amp.
(if it is the alpine package)
One day ill get my hands on one of these trucks with alpine and settle all this bs once and for all.
I wish someone would... I have read several threads where people said that 'their guy' tapped the signal for the LOC before the amp but can't find which wires were tapped...

you have to grab it after the amp if you have the alpine. its a digital signal going from the head unit to the amp.

the front door speakers are full range you should be able to grab the signal between the amp and speakers.

I had the alpine system in my '11 durango. i grabbed the signal like this and had no issues. i did this for my front stage, then u used the factory sub signal as my input to the LOC for my sub input to the amp.

a summing device will be your best bet

Couldn't you just run a test tone cd? Run 20hz - 80 hz or so and see what speaker plays them the loudest.... Tap into those.

Hmm, learn something new everyday.

U could still get them on a flash drive, spotify, brain waves, or whatever you have to use to listen to music now a days.

Tap sub wires. There is a chart somewhere around here stating the crossover points... dont quote me but i think it said front doors are only 100 to 200 hz. Back doors are 100 and up. Thats the reason your sub sounds terrible. Tap the sub wires. I think it said the sub was ethier 150 or 200 and down....tap these and use low pass filter... must tap after amp....
