Haven't done too much lately but I did have a new Magnaflow Y pipe installed today. I hope to have my JBA headers in next week too. Let's just hope they fit...

New rims and tires! Ordered these on Monday, got the rims Tuesday, TPMS sensors Wednesday, and the tires today. Had them mounted and balanced at lunch today. They were super busy when I got back there to pick up and it would have been an hour wait before they could throw them on the truck and I didn't have time for that, so I'll do it when I get home from work this evening. Can't wait to get these on the truck!

My DT Pro Fab steering brace came in yesterday and I installed it last night. Installation was a breeze and only took about 20 minutes, including getting out all my tools and jack. My new bottle jack/jack stand combo worked great for holding up the smartbar side of the sway bar. Also pictured is my 2" lift spacers and 1.5" blocks. Even though I cancelled my order from Top Gun Customz, they showed up on my porch Monday... Ended up just calling TGC and paying for them rather than dealing with sending them back. I'll eventually install them when I get more time and it cool off.

:party36:Man, seeing yours and SMR 101's truck makes me wanna trade my 1500 in for. 2500!
I was actually looking at the 2500's but the discount on the 1500 was just to great.
Maybe in 2-3 years I can join the 2500 crew :)

I haven't updated this in a while, so here are all the mods I have done lately.

09/10/12: Finally installed my lift spacers. Went with 2" up front and 1.5" in back. A lot of the hard core Power Wagon guys frown upon spacers, but it works for me. Already have bad wheel hop in sand so it's not the end of the world if it gets a little worse. And I hate driving in sand anyways. The axle is off centered a little so I'll be buying a new adjustable track bar soon, either Carli or Pure Performance. Don't really see a need to go with longer control arms just yet since my tires clear just fine, but they are on the list. On road manners haven't changed a bit, haven't had a chance to take it off road yet.

This is as high as I am going. I'm at 83" to the top of the cab lights, and that gets a little close in parking garages. I was in a 7' parking garage this evening at the hospital and it was scary close! It also just barely clears my garage door so I can still change my oil in the garage, can't spare another inch though. I can also easily clear 35's if I want in the future.

Pictures aren't the best. I'll get more later after it's cleaned up a little.

09/18/12: Installed my new Carli track bar. It was pretty easy to do, but ended up having to bust loose the upper steering linkage (or whatever it's called) to get the axle side bolt back in. Even with the wheel turned all the way to the right, it wasn't going back in. I initially had it set a 39 1/8" but the axle was still not centered so I took it out to 39 1/4". It's still not perfect but it's much better. A few quick turns on the upper steering linkage adjustment and the steering wheel was centered again, so no need for an alignment just yet. Don't really notice much difference from stock, but my truck has less than 9k miles so stuff isn't worn out yet. Still plan on replacing the control arms with either Carli or Pure Performance before too long. I like the PP because they are adjustable, and cheaper...

Last pic also shows my Lamin-x tinted fog lights that I did a while back. They blend in much better now.

10/03/12: Installed my Carli diff guard. Had to do some minor grinding on the bottom of the axle housing but it wasn't too bad. I also put on my Moes 85mm ported TB today, no pics of that though. And my 8Lug sticker. I normally don't put stickers on my truck, but this one seemed to fit well.

10/24/12: Here's the slow build up of my onboard air setup. I went with dual Viair 400c compressors and a 3 gallon tank. This will be mainly for airing up tires but I will eventually add train horns and possibly airbags. I got the compressors installed on the passenger side frame rail. Drilled and tapped the frame and used some heavy duty L brackets.

10/25/12: The main power wires have been ran. I used 4 gauge wire through a 60A fuse to a fused distribution block with two 30A fuses. Then from there 8 gauge wire through each relay then to each compressor. Everything is wrapped in wire loom to look stock. I still need to wire the coil side of the relays through the pressure switch and a toggle switch somewhere. I'm still not sure where I want to mount the switch, I'll probably stick it under the hood for now. I'll eventually get a gauge with a switch to mount in the cab somewhere...

I also ran the 3/8" airline from the intake on the compressors to the filters that I stuffed behind the stock air box. I'm still waiting on some fittings and airline as well as my bottle of Loctite 545 thread sealant, which is supposed to be the best stuff to use. That won't be here until Monday, so there's not too much I can do until then...

More pics. Ignore the dirtiness, this is about as clean as the engine bay gets. It is a Power Wagon after all!

The truck is coming along great. I have never been a fan of white trucks, but you have made me reconsider. Keep the mods coming.
