On my 2020 Ram 1500 I put in certain addresses, addresses that are not new ones, it would come up as “no match found”. The warranty has run out on this. I took it to the dealership so they could check to see if anything is wrong. Radio and nav work fine. It has been suggested that I buy a maps update. Has anyone been through this and did the update work. Thank you.

You can check your map version somewhere in there. I'm guessing yours is from 2018 or 2019 - they aren't up to date when you buy the truck.
No way I'd pay for that. Do you have car play?

I don't know if your Ram Navigation is from
Tom Tom or HERE

HERE.WeGo is a off shoot of Navigation.com, with a parent company NOKIA.
Then Nokia supposedly sold it & Navigation.com branched off

NAVTEQ took over & developed HERE
now it is called Here WeGo maps

Now, using a Smart Phone, you could download maps for free & possibly Mirror those maps to your Radio ??

It has been suggested that I buy a maps update.

Don't waste the money on factory map updates. Use AndroidAuto/CarPlay instead. Maps are not only up to date but also have real time traffic information.
