need help ASAP w/ Exhaust Tips Intallation

the shop says there is no way they can fit my 4" to 5" MBRP tips on my stock pipes as they are too small. Will the RBP 95005 2.5" to 4" adapter fix this problem??? Anyone please quickly. The truck is in the shop right now.

I'd imagine that would work. The tail pipes are 2.5" so you should be good to go!

I think the pipes are 2.25" you could use your stock tips as adapters

That's exactly what they ended up doing. They just cut back the stock pipes, and used the stock tips which were 4" exactly and put the MBRP tips over top. It looks awesome!

I don't have the truck back yet, but my wife says it sounds amazing now with the Flowmaster Super 10 muffler on it. I was going to have them install my K&N 71 BlackHawk cold air intake too..but they wanted $150.00 to do it. I'm sure I can do that myself...shouldn't be that difficult. Then it will sound even better so I'm told!

Stock tailpipes are 2.25". I bought & used the adapters when I put those same tips on. The exhaust shop just expanded a piece of pipe on 1 end the best it could to weld up to the adapter. 5" tips look great on these trucks with the exhaust cutouts. I look at trucks with the stock tips now and think there so small lol

All of us who still have stock tips are both shocked and appalled that you keep checking out our package...

hahahahaha. All i can say is now my truck looks and sounds like it should have IMHO right from the factory.
