I brought my 2014 6.7 cummins into the shop for it not running. The shop says the entire exhaust system, all the way to the exhaust manifold is clogged. What do I do?! They are saying it'll cost 21g to fix! Could I just delete it?

As mentiond above 21g is HILARIOUS. Pull that crap apart yourself or go to another shop PA has a lot of terrible mechanics/shops depends on where aswell but i wish you luck.

Thank you everyone for your input. Currently paying them 1g to put it all back together so I can grab the truck.
I've wanted to fully delete it since I bought it. Given I was a 91M I think it'll be light work. But I want to if it'll work with a tune instead of replacing all the emissions ********.

Shop is lying.
Literally not possible for the whole exhaust system to clog, and even if it was possible, 90% of the system is open pipes you could clean out with a stick and a brush. It's most likely that the Diesel Particulate Filter is clogged, that will completely plug the exhaust, stopping the engine from running. IDK if a clogged DPF can be cleaned out (I'm sure someone here can tell you if/how), but a new one (Mopar 68417517AB) looks like about $1,800 from Mopar, and it shouldn't take more than two hours for a muffler shop to install. There may be other sensors/misc. parts and programming.
For $21,000 that exhaust better come with a new engine.

Maybe they added in an extra 0. Dunno if you can get away with a delete in PA, so you may be better off replacing the DPF. You can do it in the driveway in about an hour. Both cost about the same amount, but the DPF swap is much easier mechanically.

I'd ask to see the labor rate they are using. $1K is about right if the hourly rate is $750! Towing to ANY shop would be cheaper! OR, run it "Commando"!

That Dealership is going to excuse the language they are going to screw you without vasoline. I say that from a similar problem and was told to take to the local dealer that someone figured couple of hundered bucks. The dealer wanted to install new Radiatoor, breaks, rotors, and on for just shy of $10,000. I picked my truck up and found an independent that work for Ram my bill was $100 dollars.

Unless the truck absolutely lives for towing I wouldn't have a modern diesel. All the emissions crap the govt has mandated over the last 20 years has absolutely ruined their simplicity and reliability. I work in logistics and we lease new trucks from Penske every three years but it is still problem, problem, problem.

The emissions equipment is easy to replace. It's a problem, for sure, but none of it is difficult if you have any mechanical knowledge and a few basic hand tools.

Pa doesn't have emissions testing as to my knowledge but I could be wrong. I'm looking at the delete for the added reliability and power for towing. Its my landscape truck. Frequently hauls 20k and up

Correct, my PA registered diesel does not get an emissions test, but the gassers do get tested
