Hello, this is my first post here. I’m having issues locating the right fuel pump for my 2013 Ram 3500 5.7L hemi with a 52 gallon tank. The pump I pulled out was a part# 68064418AA. I can’t seem to find that exact part anywhere. Is there another part number that would be compatible with this tank/truck?

Thanks in advance!

There is a gentleman named Benny on the forum that can assist you with any part you're looking for. I believe he is a vendor called allmoparparts, iirc.

Other than Benny, have you called the dealer?

NAPA
ROCK AUTO
A1 AUTO

All of us know that you'll pay, 10x at the dealer. If OEM replacement is what you want.

Though rare, manufacturers do change part numbers.

From my search. I found that pump discontinued. Here's a replacement -

https://www.mymoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-pkg-part-fuel-pump-68064418aa

Google search - 68064418AA fuel pump

Holler if this helps...

I have not contacted the dealer. I’m not looking for the exact part number, just one that will fit. I have tried the one you shared the link for but after ordering they said it’s out of stock (two places have said the same).

rock auto only has the 32gallon tank pumps.

They had 52-gallon tanks for gasoline? That would make my towing heavy, NC-CO trip every year so much better than stopping every 200 miles for gas. One leg this year was only 130 miles because of the Kansas wind.

Stephen, is that Civil War museum still going in Bell Buckle?

I understand many of the hurtles. My Google search produced many quality options.

I don't know your truck details... Lol at NAPA.

The only 52-gallon tanks I can find are Titan's diesel tanks. Are you using yours for gas without problems?

Unfortunately I was unable to locate a number on the tank. But I did find a replacement pump!

68064418AC is a direct replacement for the 68064418AA.

I hope this information helps someone in the future.

Heres a thought. can you rebuild the old pump using the new pump ? Im sure the fuel sending unit will not be the same, but the pump motors might.

You could but it would be tricky. The metal rods are pressed in the plastic passages for the top. I feel ether pulling or re pressing that metal rod would be difficult. The new pump is running great.
