Looking to put a 6” lift on my 1500 Classic...not a fan of the huge tire look, but don’t want the cartoony look like I’m running donut spares on my truck either....anybody running 33’s on their trucks with that lift?? Or do I need to suck it up for 35’s???

Funny that you ask about 33" tires with a 6" lift. I have several customers of mine that have run 33" tires and a 6" lift for years and they love it. Alot of them have run a basic 285/70/17 M/T tire or the old Nitto Terra Grappler in 295/70/17.

I have also used the ProComp A/T 305/65/17’s a few times too. Find something that fits your needs and your budget and roll with it. As long as your happy with how it looks and rides is all that matters.

If you can, would u mind adding a couple photos?? Also I noticed that u mentioned they are running 17” rims...I’m running my stock 20” rims, you think that would make much of a difference??

NO, running the 20" wheels would be fine. For the three trucks that I have done a 6" lift and 33" tires, the tire that two of trucks ran Atturo Trail Blade MTS tires in 33-13.50-20 and they both looked pretty sharp. I like the fact that they went with a 13.50" tire over the cookie-cutter 12.50" tires.

I will see if I can find some pics of the trucks with the 6" lifts and these tires. I have plenty of pics with a 6" lift and 35's and 37's because that is definitely more common. If I can find them I will post them for you. Just for some eye candy I have a pic of one I recently installed a 6" lift with some
37x13.50x20's.

Fast69 above get's it! Nice rig!
ANY lift or level up'd vehicle looks stupid with low profile tires, defeats the purpose of the lift?
Low profiles only look good on lowered or just above the tires IMO.
I run BFG KO-2's on my Jeep and they're a great in-be-tweener AT tire with great rain characteristics.

I had a 4.5"/2" kit on my 2003 with 285/70-17. Loved it!

Seeing how the factory tire is a 33, i would imagine they would look a bit “rollerskate ish” with a 6” lift. Hell, that pic above with 37’s on a 6” looked damn near perfect IMO.
