Well go against my better judgement I believed the word of the stealership and now im really pi$$ed off. Basically they turned the words around of our agreement that i get to go pic my own wheels and tires into that i get to trade out my 20s for some regular 17s they have. GRRRRR!! Well that being said i really dont want to buy some other wheels now since ill be putting alot of miles on this between here and Ft Sill. I was looking for advice on whether I should keep the 20s and get bigger AT tires for them, or should I get the 17s the stealership is forcing me to take and put bigger tires on them? Im going to be levelled by the end of the next weekend so which should i do? Should i keep the 20s or get the 17s? what would be the biggest i tire i could do on either of them? Ive searched and came up with maybe 305 on the 20s, but nothing on the 17s. No spacers thank you, and i havce the chrome clad 20s.

Feel like were missing part of the history on this. So you have 20s on the truck and the dealership is offering 17s of a diff type? Might be outta the loop ya trade in your 05?

I am also very confused. Try using line breaks (press enter) a few times..

I would keep your 20s. You could always sell them on CL or something like that.

If you are getting new tires by the end of the week, the 17s will be much cheaper than 20s.

Tell them to take the truck and shove it. They made a deal with you, **** 'em if they can't keep to it. There are plenty of trucks out here to be had.

yeah sorry, i sold the 05 a year ago. i bought this truck saturday and told the salesman

that i didnt want the chrome clad 20s that came on this truck and he said well we can

send you to this tire shop and you pick the rims and tires out that you want. Now I

know the salesman can be full of $hit most of the time so I also brought this up with the

sales manager and she said the same thing. Now they are trying to say it was all a

misunderstanding BS if you ask me. Yeah im not sure what im gonna do,

I like the 20s but like glass said 17s are cheaper. I would love to take the truck back

but seeing as they called me as i was leaving the exhaust shop im kinda SOL now.

Yep if you don't have a WE OWE sheet at time of sale you are screwed. I know if my truck would have come with 20"s, I would have stuck with 20"s. Since it came with 17"s, that is what I went with.

I would keep the 20's.....if they are the chrome clads you might possibly be able to squeeze 295's depending on the tire.....305's will rub. If you have the painted aluminum 20's you can run 305's. With the 17's(assuming they are stock) you are in the same boat as in 305's will most likely rub, might be able to squeeze 295's

I'm new here, but I'll put my .02 in. If the dealership is offering you stock 17"s in place of your 20"s they need to be putting $400 back in your pocket as that is what the chrome 20"s stickered for as an option. Otherwise I'd keep the 20s

Thanks for the feedback fellas, I have decided to stay with the 20s and Im going to get some terra grapplers in 285 65 20 as per Thor. I really wanted the BFG AT TKOs just for the fact that they offer white letters but seeing as theyre 500 more than the nittos in almost the same size I couldnt justify it. But all is now waiting the Bilstien 5100s as they are on back order :(. Also they are trying to back out of the second part of our deal(which was written on a WE OWE sheet. I told him id only take the truck if I could get a direct IPOD integration hook up. You know where you can change the song at the radio without having to pick up the ipod and change it on there. Now they are saying that the salesman didnt know what he was talking about and that they cant do it on the radio thats in the truck! MFERS! Im going up there tomorrow to straighten this out and if I have to ill bring out the work order thats written up for it. Btw I have the single cd player with sirius and ipod aux port.

When buying my 1500 I wanted a back up camera added to the deal, the salesman said no problem and showed me how it would install in the tail gate latch. My we owe order stated "install back up camera."

When the wife brought the truck home form the dealer they had installed a lisence plate bolt on camera. Now everytime I step on the bumper I kick the fukken camera. Still fighting with them on this.

I have never run into problems with a dealer like I have on this purchase. Times must be a changing, I need to up my game.

went to the dealer today and got somewhat satisfied. turns out they have to change the radio to product code rer and i did my research bringing up the fact that its an 800 dollar option. Its 800 dollars when they build it but its more like 1500 to switch out the radios and rewire other stuff. Instead of fighting this with the salesmanager I told him lets make a deal. So know i have step bars, a tool box and a bed liner on the way. But Im telling anyone in the central arkansas area to stay away from fletcher dodge. They wont have my business anymore!
