need seat help

I just bought a 2007 ram 1500 std cab with bucket seats, 241,000 miles so the seats need help, what methods have you used to repair the sitting on the seat frame? upholstery shop wants $800 to do the 2 bottoms only if i bring him the just seats.

I bought the two bottom seat replacement cushions from either e-bay or amazon. i followed the directions from YouTube and got some very good not cheap seat covers from American trucks and did it all myself. You can also purchase the bottom pan springer system that the cushion sits on and just like that brand new and you did it.

These things are super easy to replace. I watched a YouTube video on how to do it too, my 07 needs a passenger seat bottom. Guy did it in a parking lot, seats in the truck, it's that easy. Even the covers for the seat bottoms are pretty easy to replace if the cover is worn. You could probably do both seat bottoms cover and all for probably $500... granted I haven't looked into it hard core yet. My 07 needs a few other things before I get to that point.

I'm sure the guys here will know where to get quality foam and covers.

genos and seat shop have the bottom drivers cushion but NOT the passengers cushion, the seat shop has all the covers, my seats do not have the side flat which must take a different cushion, still looking>
