Im looking into purchasing a new 2014 Ram Laramie. The question I have is about the 4 corner leveling system. The videos I have seen on it makes it look awesome, but no one back home has it so I cant find out much about it. Will it freeze up in cold weather? Can you add anti-freeze guard?
Any feed back would be appreciated.

Thanks

It's just air bag suspension like semi's or high end luxury cars. The only way that could happen is if you get water in the system. But surely there are air/water sepparators in the system.

If they are like the air systems on our chip trucks there's a bleed valve on the tank that collects any water that gets in. Only the older (5 years and over) have any problems and only if it's below freezing for a while and we bleed the system each night, can't leave if you can't make the brakes work.
From what I've seen of aftermarket air suspension systems, most have the valves over the midline of the tank so any water that collects won't freeze the lines or valves.

its a completely sealed closed Nitrogen system. Pretty well the only downfall to the system is that you cannot install a ride height kit, you use it as is and the the highest and lowest level it can handle which is a 4" selectable ride height

Thanks for that information, knew someone here would have more details that Ram likes to provide. Was going to check the system out next time I stop in to check on the EcoDiesel deliveries, anyone think it's been worth anything for the highway lowering?
