With my on going emissions issues (******* Chrysler!!) I have a question for you guys, well for a certain group of you guys.
For those of you that have removed your cats, removed the rear O2s via tuning and removed the EGR via tuning........ what does your readiness monitors look like? Do they show everything on and ready? Are the reporting not ready? Are they reporting not available?
Reason I ask is because I am strongly thinking about turning all that crap off in my tune. After 600 miles of highway, city, stop and go traffic's my trucks emissions system is STILL telling me its not ready. And the ONLY response I get from anyone at the emissions place or from dodge themselves is either "its a Chrysler" or "Sorry its a dodge thing".
I read on an ls1 forum today (checking what others are doing with this problem) and one of the members was talking about the exact same issues I was having in his cheby. His fix to the annoying issue was to turn the sensors off in the CMR tune and set the as off and not reporting or something like that and it flew through emissions just fine like everything was ready although being turned off.
