Hey Graygoose,

Is there a way to order just the new amplifier? When I look up PRAMCQ13 all I see is a full kit with the subwoofer (which I already own).

Let me check on dealer price sheet, I'm sure they can order just the front amp, but let me get part number.

Ok, I'm sure I'm getting this but just to confirm...I have a 16 2500 Mega Cab with 8.4 HU (non-Alpine).

For improvement I can:

1. Purchase 77KICK upgraded speakers (front/rear)
2. Leave stock speakers in and purchase 4.1 amp

but as far as the sub - not so much as it's for the quad/crew cabs

Let me verify sub box, but correct on other ideas...the best all around sound is the 4.1 amp and leave factory speakers.
The more inexpensive is the KICK speakers.

Sub box will fit 2500 if you do NOT have airride.

No airride. I just assumed because of the rear seats folding flat not making room for the sub.

Thanks for the info. :happy107:

Just returned speakers I purchased from Crutchfield so I can do the sub and the amp.

Wouldn't he need a longer wiring harness than what comes in the kit?

If I remember correctly, it was tight in my quad cab.

All wiring kits should be the same, well harness did change '13 and up. But I don't know about length.

Everything should be good for the driver seat up, bit I don't remember if there was enough slack to reach from the Amp to to sub, enough for a Mega Cab at least.

It would be relatively easy to splice in extra length on that portion of the harness though...

Correct, and here is the answer I was given on your front amp question;

There is a part # for it (ARAMCQ13) and it can be ordered separately, but ONLY if they ALREADY have the SRAMCQ13 powered subwoofer kit installed in the truck. The amp is programmed to send a “rear fill” signal to the back door speakers, so they won’t be as loud as they were without it; and the crossover will send all bass frequencies to the “.1” channel for the subwoofer, so the door speakers won’t have as much mid-bass response. They will undoubtedly be very disappointed if they install the amp w/o the sub.

Awesome thanks. I'm guessing this is a dealer order? No direct sales to the public?

No direct, it would have to be local dealer, or Sound Connection or Crutchfield, sorry.
now Benny from AllMoparparts MIGHT be able to order, not sure not being an official Moapr piece.

I figured at least I know what to ask for. Thanks!

One final question, is there an MSRP for ARAMCQ13 by itself?

I'm sure it'd be along the same line as the GM/Ford, but you can "make offer" with SC. :)

You read my mind but I can't find it listed as ARAMCQ13 so I can't make an offer.

I wanted to know MSRP so I know which dealer to order from and which one thinks I'm an idiot.

Well either would be able to look, I cant honestly say dealer or MSRP, I don't want to offer incorrect information. But they can look in their database, on that part number and see, or they should anyway :)

The extra space/length on a mega cab is at the rear of the cab isn't it?
