Hi guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Adam, an avid offroad/jeep enthusiast. I also like hiking, rock climbing, wrenching, and welding.
I've just picked up a used 4th gen ecodiesel to use as a "daily" and I'm loving it. Its a max steel Laramie package with heated/vented seats, sunroof, power folding mirrors, etc.
It's currently on all stock suspension, 20" oem chrome wheels, and 33" KO2s.
I'm interested in preserving the 27mpg highway and the ride comfort its got now so this Ram won't likely change much. My Jeep, pictured below, will remain a toy while the Ram will serve as a grocery getter/tow rig.
Regarding towing, I'm considering adding airbags in the rear. Any other towing prep advice is welcome!
I'd also love to see pictures of other max steel 1500s out there, or whatever you've got!
I'm mulling over a possible chrome delete (matte black grille, bumpers, mirrors, handles, and emblems - considering bronze wheels.
Anyway, Hi! Here's some pics:
