I just got a 2014 express wondering if the stock radio has the capability to accept a back up camera and what uconnect really is? Can I use the app to start my truck or is that only available on the higher models? Thanks for the help

NOT sure if its possible on that model. Ask your dealer. And yes u can use uconnect to start you car, only if your car is equipped with remote start.

a back up camera can be added to the 5.0 Radio from the factory. It is something common seen in the 2500 series trucks.

My 14 express has the 5.0 u connect and I have the back up camera and it is worth every penny I use it every day to back into the garage and can you say no more dented license plate backing up to a trailer. As far as I know the u connect is the voice command I'm not sure if any other features are associated with it. My stereo had satellite and built in Bluetooth no sure if those are standard or comes with just the u connect 5.0 or not. The voice controls I never use could do without.

never use the voice control either. tried it a few times but the recognition kinda sucks
