How much of a difference does disassembling half the truck make? The tailgate and spare are simple enough, but the whole interior and suspension components seems like a lot of work. I'm not being a **** either, I'm genuinely inquiring how much difference that makes.

Honestly I don't know. I didn't make a pass and then install a seat and make another. Removing the front sway bar doesn't take long if you have a lift

I think I would find that out before I did it too many more times. Haha. Pretty good time though. Especially for big ass truck. I see guys at the track who take themselves real serious that barely run that.

Too bad we don't live next too each other. We could go half and half on slicks! Good runs man. Thanks again for the sway bar.

You're welcome sir. We definitely need to invest in some slicks but I have a feeling my son will be taking most of my money starting in July lol

Your 8 speed is cooking bud. I went to the track yesterday and got some runs in and my best was 14.093@96. Your truck is bigger and heavy than mine; I'm in a RCSB. Very nice time:favorites13:
I can run 3rd gear to almost the traps but I Got to shift into 4th when I hit 6500 RPMS and it falls flat.

With the 6 speed put it into 3rd and let the PCM do the work. Your truck will pick up top end MPH and run faster.

I got 7 runs in yesterday and I launched in 3rd but had to manual shift at 6000-6500RPMS, didn't want to damage anything. What do you mean when you say let the PCM do the work?

Sounds like you arent using 2nd prime. I let mine run thru the traps in 2nd prime. I ran 14.01@99 in a qc with 3.92 and green racing tune.

My 14 shifts into 2nd prime for me but yours might not. Launch in 3 but click + right when it shifts into 2nd. You will know when you did it right cuz the rpms will only drop down to about 5200.

So, let me get this straight.

Put it in manual mod. Floor it, when it comes to redline shift up and that will go into 2nd prime?

Now if I'm on the street, when it comes to redline again shift up and it will go to 3rd? and so on?

I understand 2nd prime and why it's there, but when manual shifting is really confusing. lol

Shift it in 3rd and just let the transmission do it's thing. It's going to do the 1-2 shift automatically and the it will shift down to second gear prime and you will cross through the traps in second prime.

Yes it is really confusing thats why im glad mine does it for me. The truck will shift into 2nd for you but i think you click it to 4 right when its gonna shift out of 2nd. It will say 4 but you will actually be in 2nd prime. Look at greychevy's video run his runs a few months ago.
